Every bike here belongs to a shop in Bali, listed with that shop's own photos, its own rate and its own WhatsApp number. You send the request, the shop answers it, and you settle up with the shop.

Look at a shop's actual bikes
A shop's page carries its own fleet: the model, the colour, the gearbox, the condition it is in, and what that shop charges by the day, the week and the month.
Send your request to the shop
The request goes to that shop and the shop answers it. Nobody sits in the middle of the conversation, and nothing is added to the price for making the introduction.
Collect the bike from the photos
A listing is tied to one licence plate. The scooter you looked at is the scooter waiting at the counter, and the rate you saw is the rate you pay.

Six rules you can hold us to
Renting a scooter in Bali usually runs on trust and a handshake. These six are written into how the product works, so you can check whether we kept them.
One listing, one licence plate
Every listing is locked to a single plate. If the photos show a red Scoopy with a scuffed left fairing, that is the bike you collect. A shop cannot list one scooter and hand over another.
A passport is not a deposit
A shop that declares it retains a passport or KTP as security cannot publish a listing here at all. The check runs before a bike goes live, so it does not depend on anyone remembering the rule.
You see the deposit before you ask
If a shop asks for a deposit, the amount and the form it takes are written on the shop's page while you are still deciding. Rodaku never holds a deposit and never adds one of its own.
Your ID photo has an expiry date
If a shop photographs your ID at pickup, the file deletes itself three full days after the rental ends. The date that will happen is shown in the app rather than promised in a policy.
Your data stays in Indonesia
Rodaku stores and processes its data inside Indonesia, ID photos included. Nothing about your rental leaves the country to be handled somewhere else.

How does renting a scooter with Rodaku work?
Rodaku lists rental shops in Bali and the scooters they own. You pick a bike, send a booking request to that shop, and the shop confirms it and hands over the exact plated bike you reserved. You deal with the shop and you pay the shop. Rodaku is never a party to the rental itself.
Does Rodaku charge commission or a booking fee?
No. Rodaku takes no commission on a rental and charges travellers no booking fee. Shops pay a flat monthly subscription instead, which is why the rate written on a shop's page is that shop's own rate, with nothing added on top of it.
Can a rental shop hold a passport as a deposit?
Not on Rodaku. A shop that declares it retains a passport or KTP as security cannot publish a listing here, because the check runs before a bike can go live. Any deposit a shop does ask for is money or a card hold, and it is shown on the shop's page before you reserve.
What happens to my ID photo?
